Retail Manager
CSA Frankfurt is looking for a Retail Manager to efficiently manage CSA's retail establishments and purchasing needs.
Key Duties:
- Managing Purchasing requirements for all CSA operations including the Quickshop, Carl Schurz School, Wunderbar, CSA Admin Offices and Fitness Center
- Identify staffing needs, schedule & supervise employees in the Quickshop , Shoppette, and Wunderbar
- Maintain CSA’s inventory management system and conduct monthly inventory counts
- Analyze inventory and sales reports to determine retail policies
- Make key decisions about stock control by calculating levels of supply and demand for services and products
- Take the lead on logistics for CSA-hosted events
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Maintain the upkeep of CSA’s retail establishments
- Manage CSA's events calendar
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make important decisions
- Experience supervising employees
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Strong mathematical skills (to analyze inventory and figures)
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Must have a current driver's license
- Please note that this position requires the candidate to have purchasing privileges at the U.S. Base in Wiesbaden (base access card and yellow base purchasing card)
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience with inventory management
- Stock control management experience
- Previous experience in purchasing
Working Hours:
This position is a part-time position (25 hours per week).
