CSA Infrastructure Maintenance Fees Information
About CSA Basic Service
CSA Basic Service is required for all apartments before purchasing any other internet or telephone services from us. CSA Basic Service provides the connection to the infrastructure that makes everything else possible. This package includes maintenance of the infrastructure and services described below.
The Siedlung housing area is serviced by the CSA high-speed cable infrastructure. Your Infrastructure Maintenance Fee enables CSA to operate and maintain this infrastructure and provide onsite technical staff. If requested, CSA will provide your apartment with one (1) free decoder box so that you can receive approximately 100 channels, mostly German but with some English-language programming (CNN, CNBC, BBC, CGTN, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera).
CSA Basic Service is invoiced separately from Vodafone services and is payable to CSA by check or PayPal.
Getting Help
If you are having a technical problem with your services, please check out our troubleshooting guide first. If these tips do not resolve your issue, please contact Joe Owusu at [email protected] (email) or 01752047740 (cell). If you contact Vodafone, you will be responsible for the cost of the Vodafone service call – €50, regardless of the reason your service is not working.
Compatible Televisions & Other Equipment
Each apartment will receive a compatible decoder box that will allow an HDMI connection to your television. If you wish to place your TV further than 6 feet away from the infrastructure outlet in the living room/bedroom, you will need to purchase the appropriate length cable. You may also need to purchase a 220v extension strip. CSA is not responsible for the installation of extra cables. Be aware not all bedrooms or upstairs landings have an internet outlet.
Please note that the landline telephone service does not include the telephone itself; residents will need to supply their own landline telephone if they wish to utilize this service.
Additional Hookups
If you want to have internet or telephone in another room in my apartment, up to two additional drops can be installed for an additional fee. Contact CSA to get this started.

- Storage of hardware (starting equipment)
- Connection of CSA and Vodafone services
- Processing and cancellation of CSA and Vodafone services
- Payment of Vodafone's per-unit availability fee charged to CSA for all Siedlung apartments regardless of service
- Hardwire network maintenance and repair
- Free Digital receiver
- Tracking of Vodafone hardware and services
- Acceptance, routine installation and replacement of defective Vodafone equipment for all residents
- Assistance with service upgrades and cancellations
- Assistance in researching and/or resolving billing issues
- Assistance in disputes between residents and Vodafone
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- German-language assistance with Vodafone support
- Scheduling with and escorting for Vodafone representatives
