Job Tickets
The Job Ticket is a reduced rate ticket that can be used on the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) public transportation system. The Job Ticket’s primary purpose is to reduce the cost of home to work transportation and it offers employees and family members substantial savings compared to the normal RMV ticket.

Job Ticket Information
- Your Job Ticket is valid for travel on all RMV Regional Trains (any train in the RMV area that the number starts with RB or RE). Your Job Ticket is also valid on buses, streetcars/trams, S-Bahns, and U-Bahns in the RMV area. Your Job Ticket is not valid on Inter City Express Trains (ICE) or Intercity (IC) trains. Your Job Ticket is valid for 2nd class travel only.
- Your Job Ticket is officially only valid with your Consulate badge. In most cases you will find that when tickets are checked that they will not ask to see your Consulate badge; however, in some cases your Consulate badge will be checked with your Job Ticket. If you are asked for your Consulate badge during a ticket check and you do not have your Consulate badge you will be subject to a 60 Euro fine.
- You can take one adult, and children 14 years old and younger, with you with your Job Ticket Monday through Friday after 7 pm and all day on weekends and German Holidays. This includes up to three children that are not your own. Children 5 years old or younger can ride for free at any time.
- Your Job Ticket is a price level 7 ticket and is valid in the entire RMV area. Please contact the MAC in room F-205 if you need a map showing the RMV area.
- Your Job Ticket can be picked up from the MAC no earlier than the 20th and no later than the 23rd of the month before it starts.
